Floating Bar & Pack Summary

Pack Builder uses a **static pack summary** (always visible) and an optional **floating bar** (sticks to the bottom of the screen) to show pack progress.

Updated yesterday

Static Pack Summary

Always visible, showing:

  • "Your Pack" header with item count (e.g., "Your Pack (3/6)")

  • Visual progress bar

  • Subtotal price (and compare-at price if enabled)

  • Thumbnail images of selected items with empty slots for remaining capacity

  • "Add Pack to Cart" button and "Clear All" link

Placement: Below the product grid by default. With side-by-side layout enabled (MOD Bundles → Customization → Pack Builder → Layout), it appears in a sticky sidebar on desktop.

Floating Bar

An optional persistent bar that sticks to the bottom of the viewport, keeping Add to Cart accessible while scrolling.

Recommendation

Long product lists

Enable on mobile — helps track progress while scrolling

Side-by-side layout (desktop)

Disable on desktop — the sidebar already serves this purpose

Mobile-first store

Enable on mobile — keeps Add to Cart always accessible

Customizing

Floating Bar Styling

MOD Bundles → Customization → Pack Builder → Floating Bar:

  • Colors — Background, text, price, compare-at price

  • Border radius — Top and bottom corners

  • Mobile — Thumbnail size, padding, width (50-100%), centering, bottom offset

  • Desktop — Thumbnail size, padding, bottom offset

  • Behavior — "Hide until first item added" keeps the bar hidden until the customer adds their first item

Text Labels

MOD Bundles → Customization → Text & Labels:

  • "Your Pack" text (default: "Your Pack (")

  • Pack separator (default: "/")

  • "Add Pack to Cart" button text

  • "Clear All" link text

Auto-Upgrade Pack Size

When enabled, if a customer tries to add more items than the current pack allows, the pack size automatically upgrades to the next available size.

Enable in: MOD Bundles → Customization → Pack Builder → Pack Size Buttons → "Auto-upgrade pack size when full"

When disabled, customers see a "Pack Full" message and must manually select a larger size.

Troubleshooting

  • Bar not showing — Check it's enabled in theme settings; if "Hide until first item added" is on, add an item first

  • Bar overlaps other elements — Adjust the bottom offset; check for conflicting fixed elements like chat widgets

  • Summary shows wrong count — Refresh the page; clear all items and re-add
