How Language Detection Works
Shopify store locale — Primary method
Browser language — Fallback
Theme language settings — If configured
English — Final fallback
For most stores, language is detected automatically.
Multi-Language Stores
If you use Shopify Markets or translation apps:
Shopify handles language switching
MOD Bundles follows the current locale
Translations load automatically
Important: Custom text labels (set in MOD Bundles → Customization) override translations for all languages. Leave text fields at defaults if you want automatic translations.
Right-to-Left (RTL) Languages
Arabic and Hebrew are supported with automatic RTL layout. If RTL isn't working, verify your theme supports RTL and your Shopify language is set correctly.
Requesting New Languages
Contact MOD Bundles support with the language and locale code. You can also provide your own translations for faster addition.
Troubleshooting
Wrong language displayed — Check Settings → Languages in Shopify; clear browser cache
Text shows in English unexpectedly — Language may not be supported; check if custom text overrides are set
Translation app conflicts — Some apps translate MOD Bundles text directly; test to see which applies
