Common Issues
Bundle appears on all product pages (not just bundle products)
Bundle block in wrong position on the page
Bundle appears on homepage or collection pages
Multiple bundles showing on one page
Issue: Bundle Appears on All Product Pages
If your bundle block shows on every product page, not just bundle products, the app block needs configuration.
Why this happens: When you add an app block to the "Default product" template, it shows on ALL products using that template.
Solutions:
Option 1: Create a Dedicated Bundle Template
Go to Online Store → Themes → Edit theme
Click the template dropdown (top center)
Click Products → Create template
Name it something like "Bundle" or "Bundle Product"
Add the appropriate app block to this template only (Mix & Match Bundle, Pack Builder, or Collection Bundle)
Save
Then assign the template to your bundle products:
Go to Products in Shopify admin
Click your bundle product
Under Theme template, select your new "Bundle" template
Save
Option 2: Use Conditional Visibility (If Supported)
Some themes support conditional block visibility:
In theme customizer, click the bundle block
Look for visibility or display conditions
Set it to only show on specific products
Issue: Bundle Block in Wrong Position
The bundle interface might be appearing too high, too low, or in an awkward spot.
How to reposition:
Go to Online Store → Themes → Edit theme
Navigate to your product template
Find the bundle block in the left sidebar
Drag and drop it to your desired position
Save
Recommended positions:
Below the product title and price
Above the Add to Cart button
In a dedicated section for bundle content
Issue: Bundle Shows on Homepage or Collections
App blocks should only appear on product (or page) templates, not homepage or collection pages.
If the block is showing in wrong places:
Go to Online Store → Themes → Edit theme
Navigate to your Homepage (or collection template)
Check if a bundle block was accidentally added
Remove it if found
Save
Note: Bundle blocks only function on product pages where a bundle product exists.
Issue: Wrong Bundle Type Showing
If you're seeing the wrong bundle interface (e.g., Pack Builder when you want Mix & Match):
Check 1: Correct app block added?
Each bundle type has its own app block:
MOD Bundles → Mix & Match bundles
Pack Builder → Pack Builder bundles
Collection Bundle → Collection bundles
Make sure you've added the right block for your bundle type.
Check 2: Product has correct tags?
Bundle products are identified by tags:
Mix & Match:
MOD_BUNDLES_APPCollection Bundle:
MOD_COLLECTION_BUNDLEPack Builder: Has pack-specific metafields
If tags were accidentally removed, the wrong interface might show.
Issue: Multiple Bundles on One Page
If you see multiple bundle interfaces on a single product page:
Cause 1: Multiple blocks added
Go to theme customizer
Check for duplicate bundle blocks
Remove extras
Cause 2: Block added in multiple sections
Check both the product template AND individual sections
The block might be in the main product section AND a custom section
Remove the duplicate
Issue: Collection Bundle on Wrong Page Type
Collection Bundles can work on:
Product pages (attached to a bundle product)
Page templates (standalone bundle page)
If it's on the wrong type:
Check where you added the Collection Bundle block
For product-based bundles: Add to product template
For standalone pages: Add to page template and create a page
