Quick Answer
Bundles can appear in any collection — either automatically (based on collection conditions) or manually added.
How It Works
When you create a bundle in MOD Bundles, it creates a regular Shopify product. This product:
Has a title, description, and images
Can have tags, product type, and vendor
Appears in your Products list
Works with all Shopify collection features
Adding Bundles to Collections
Automatic Collections
If your collection uses conditions (like tags or product type), bundles matching those conditions appear automatically.
Example: A collection with the condition "Product tag is equal to gift"
Add the
gifttag to your bundle productThe bundle automatically appears in that collection
Manual Collections
For manual collections, add your bundle product directly:
Go to Products → Collections
Open your collection
Click Add products
Search for your bundle product
Select it and save
Best Practices
Use Descriptive Tags
Tag your bundles for easy organization:
bundle— identify all bundlesgift-set— gift-related bundlesbuild-your-own— customizable bundles
Create a Bundles Collection
Consider creating a dedicated collection for all bundles:
Create a new collection called "Bundles" or "Build Your Own"
Set condition: Product tag equals
bundleTag all your bundle products with
bundle
This gives customers an easy way to browse all your bundle offerings.
Feature Bundles on Homepage
Add your bundles collection to your homepage to highlight bundle deals.
Display Considerations
When bundles appear in collections, customers see:
The bundle product's featured image
The bundle product's title
The bundle product's price (starting price or base price)
Clicking the bundle takes them to the product page where the bundle interface appears.
Excluding Bundles from Collections
To keep bundles out of certain collections:
Check your collection conditions
Make sure bundles don't match those conditions
Or manually remove bundle products from manual collections
